KISS played before 137,000 people at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on this date. This was the band's second show in South America and the band's largest crowd in their career. This was one of three shows the band would ever play in make-up until KISS traveled to South America on the 1996 Reunion Tour.
